    Didnt the same sort of thing happen in a certain english prem match involving man u and steve bruce when they scored in the 98th minute???And these lads are or were pros,its all part of the game if the was no contraversey in football Chelsea would be champs ansd Netown would of won the league by Christmas
    what are you on about no contraversey in football chelsea would be champs !!! newtown would of won league by christmas.. !!

    Surely Neil Guilfoyle's goal against Newtown was an own goal. Young B.J back heeled it into his own net from a corner. Did Neil take the corner where's Andy gray when you need him???

    O god here we go again please dont disect my comments so much all I was saying was that if football didnt have surprises it would be very boring now wouldnt it???reguarding utd I was talking about similarities about when utd beat shef Wed?? to win the league in the 98+ min and the match reguarding oly and moher its all part and parcell of the game these things happen and you are bound to get screwed at least once a year,there will always be talking points.My point about Chelsea was that they are the best team in England on papper .The Newtown thing was just a laugh because every year they are favorites or talked about winning the league when in reality they flop every year.

    i think bridge will get there draw to take them to 19pts. Dont think Mountshannon will get more than a point at newmarket so that will leave them relegated. Rineanna then to play off against Bunratty in what should be a interesting match..

    4-3-3

    1.Skinny.GK (Newtown)
    2.Derek Byrne.RB (Newtown)
    3.Shane Byrnes. LB (Bridge Celtic)
    4.Dan Aherne.CH (Bridge C) play anywhere
    5.Noel Donnallen.CH (Newtown)
    6.Alan Clohessy RCM(Moher) play anywhere
    7.Whitey CM (Lifford)
    8.Mike Hoey LCM (Moher)
    9.Jonny Daly RCF (Moher)
    10.Declan McDonald.LCF(Newtown)
    11.Paul McEvoy.CF (Bridge Celtic)

    Newtown = 4
    Moher = 3
    Bridge = 3
    Lifford = 1

    Fair enough reflection of the season i think, I had 3 of each of the top 3 clubs and then went for Skinny in goals for his heroics in cup competitions so far this season as well as least goals conceded.

    Regarding the team of the year... The avenue left back is Eamon O' Reilly I think... and regards whitey in midfield... is this based on the game against newtown alone??

    He is a great player and when ha plays with the Juniors or with the 21s last year he stands out but he spent at least half of the season with the Clare U-21 football (GAA) team AFAIK.
    They think its all yogurt.
    It is not!
