Question Who should be the next manager?

Seeing as there's a bit of speculation on another thread about LM staying on, who do people think should take over from him if he leaves?

As far as I can tell its down to 3 people at the mo, Hilly, Patsy and Jonny C. As Hilly seems to be getting on ok at Queenstown at the mo, and has eL experience as a manager, Id guess that he would be the best candidate. I could see Jonny C wanting the job as CCFC is in his blood and he is the manager of Avondale at the mo. I dont think that it would be impossable to rule out Patsy getting the job either though.

Who should it be (or should we beg Liam to stay on? )

Could you put a poll on this please Adam & email me the instructions on how to do one in the future please?
As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.

I wouldn't give any of the three of them the job.

Hill is a chancer and he'd have Jason Kabia with him as his assistant and Dobbs up front!

Johnny C has no experience as a manager and I'd doubt if he will make thegrade.

    Patsy maybe.

Troy, you can't add a poll to a thread, you have to do it when you're posting (I created a new one and merged them).

As to instructions, just look at the last panel on the post new thread page. Or better yet, RTFM:

    http://foot.ie/misc.php?s=&action=faq&page=3#polls

Feel free to play in the Off Topic forum, I'll delete them when you're done.

I have to say that what ever people think of Gunther and i haven't anything against him. It's a bit fickle to have a poll for a new manager when we are actually doing well for once!

    Red face

    Pointless thread.

    Besides......what a selection eh

Gunther is still here & as i've consistently said i'll judge him his results on the pitch.

btw if city were to get a manager in the future i think they should get someone whose been successful with another Premier division club ala Stephen Kenny from Longford to Bohs.....

    Christ I was only saying
Its kind of ironic that someone said that it was in "bad taste", Im sure that Gunter would be far more interested in what some other people have said about him in different threads than a poll about how poeple would like to see replace him IF he didnt renew his contract.

PS Why is Hilly a chancer?

don't think there's much point in this speculating- if the grumpy git didn't get the boot last season, he never will. I wouldnt take any of the above if I could help it- CCFC has suffered too much from being a parochial club that keeps resigning former players and giving coaching jobs to ex-players. We have needed a break from DB's buddies for the last few years, unfortunately the one who tried to do it got knifed in the back. If it had to be one of the above Hilly, but just cos i wouldn't give it to the other two.
