Carbone move gives Bradford a lifeline
31/07/2002 - 4:09:50 pm
Benito Carbone is set to secure his release from Bradford City tomorrow - saving the jobs of 19 other players in the process.
The Professional Footballers’ Association have arranged and helped finance a deal which should see Italian striker Carbone return home and sign for Como, who have been promoted to Serie A.
They may pay massive monies for the world class players in Italy but can't see an average player lkike Carbone getting anything like the 40k sterling over yonder.....

Not a hope! No wonder he didn't play well... It's hard to play well when you spend most of the week laughing all the way to the bank shouting "suckers"!
