    Bun. Of course. Without question.

    Rice Krispie Buns.

    Fairy Buns.

    Christmas Buns.

    Wedding buns.

    Birthday buns.

As Marie Antoinette said...."let them eats buns".

And you were right to do so sir!
But that's not the point. This is not a 'what did you call it back in the day' debate. This is about there never having been such a thing as a Rice Krispie (Crispie) Cake. Ever!
All those who think there was are suffering from a collective psychosis of worrying proportions.
    So now.

Did you ever notice that in every painting of Adam & Eve, they have belly buttons. Think about that...take as long as you want.

Cakes,Cakes. (I am astonished at the size of the Bun lobby) I even consulted my Mum on this. She also said my generation were a cheap birthday party -couple of large bottles of 7-up and rice crispy CAKES.

Cork city - if it makes a difference...

Just spoke to a scottish friend of mine, who said cakes. What an idiot. But in Scotland, they usually use cornflakes, not rice krispies. Barbarians.

I've only ever seen Cornflake cakes in Ireland. Agree that the concept of a cornflake version is barbaric but my refined Scottish buddies love their rice krispie cakes.
