Chairman of ldmc, Boss in pike, also part of the soccer limk, and is encouraging limk players to play in dublin... anything to undermine Limk37...
I am not suprised.. if we cant have them(players) no one else will...
so much for promoting football in limk..

Hi

There are a number of rumours circulating regarding the Pike club organising a bus to Dublin bringing the best of Limericks youth players for an U21 game Versus UCD.

Pike rovers have confirmed that they are NOT organising a bus this is being facilitated by an individual from limerick, the suggestion is being propagated that this is to give the players a chance at getting a scholarship. One would wholeheartedly approve of such moves if the club that the players are being trialled with were up front but on receipt of the UCD application form for Soccer scholarships the last paragraph is as follows

"Please return this form, fully completed, together with relevant information which you consider appropriate to support your application to:
‘Soccer Scholarships’, Sports Information Office, University College Dublin, Belfield, Dublin 4.
CLOSING DATE: Friday 27th April 2007"

Any person requiring information on Scholarships from UCD should contact the UCD sports information office and get their information first hand.
This is the time of year when scouting for players of all ages goes into hyperdrive and both players and parents should be aware that all information should be fully checked out in relation to any offer or approach being made to players. If anyone is unsure of information you can contact your league or the FAI for clarification on rules and guidelines relating to the signing of players or trialing of players.

Just on the Mc Garry situation putting GAA before Pike.With the coming big games coming up ,surely he still would go into Pikes first eleven.I dont think conny would leave him out in order to teach him a lesson Pa is to good .

Will Balla do their best to stop Pike winning the league on wednesday night or will they save it for the MJC final??

With alana barry injured for the boro i'd fancy pike to win the league if it goes to a playoff.
