I know I said last week that I would stay with Star regardless of the end of season outcome, but being realistic, if we do get relegated and most of the team leave as well as the manager, then I would have to look at it again.
But on a positive note, we look forward to Sunday, and if we do win along with Regional beating Aisling then we are a point ahead of both Aisling and Herbertstown, with a game in hand on Herbertstown and game more played than Aisling, so it's all to play for............for now.

question for leather.is there any truth that alan barry and pa moloney have both left janesboro?of what i hear neither has been training for weeks.cant be helping the teams chances of winning the league if its true.
Cant confirm or deny what you have heard. what i can tell you is taht P.Maloney was dropped for the last game because he was absent from training over a fair period. I have no knowledge about A.Barry Leaving the club,he Scored a hat-trick in our last game.He was always good to train..so i iam in the dark as much as you are.
Would be a disappointment if any of what you have posted turns out to be true, could possibly have a poor affect on us winning the league but the other lads who would come in would not let themselves or the club down..
it would be unfortunate for the boro ok if alan went.he is probably the best striker in town.it just seems a strange one at this stage of season when ye are motoring along nicely if its true.wouldnt be as worried about moloney.hes always been the same wherever he went.maybe it might be a question of the 2 lads looking for attention.alan never seems to be out of the rumour mill anyway whether its limerick 37,pike or st michaels hes meant to be joining.id get sick of it anyway if i was top of league.cant be good for team morale.
moloney done the same with pike last year when he was dropped
it wouldnt be the first time that bunch of players were relegated... is it just coincidence????? id be a worried manager anyway if five or six star players came to me pre season and signed wit my club... i mean relegation from the division would be an almost certainty, imo the players that are in a relegated side should have the respect for the club to get them outta the sh!tty mess they got the club into!!!look at poor abbey rovers sur... have you a concience at all bud!!!!!!
a few of the star players have been relegated on more than one occasion with a variety of teams, the fact of wether some of them are good enough for premier is definitly the question.
They have a few quality players eg Brian o doherty, docs the full back, nolly in goal, locky and possibly one or 2 more but them same players can't be expected to carry the team every week and against premier teams you need 11 good players every week.
anyone have the CBS score?
cbs won 2-0 shane clarke got 2 goals .
My quote was "IF we do get relegated and IF MOST OF THE TEAM LEAVE AS WELL AS THE MANAGER, then I would have to look at it again".
That's two big IF's and another IF we get relegated, so a lot to play for between now and then.
I'll gladly stay with Star if all the squad stick together for next season, regardless of whether we get relegated or not. (just to make it clear)

the thing with moloney is his attitude, good player tho, boro could survive without him, same can't be said about alan barry
to be fair oscar there isnt a junior team in the country that would struggle with out alan barry
