    Injury crisis

Just received the following text from Gael353:

All keepers injured. Mooney does his cruciate, out for season. Healy back injury out for 3 months and U-21 keeper also injured. Paddy Purcell also out for a month.

I think that the emoticon combo sums it up quite well...

Where to now then? I suppose we'll have a Kiely/Wolfe combo lining out at the centre of defence against Cobh (And won't Cobh love seeing their old boys so close together?) but between the posts has got to be a serious worry now. I said it in another post already but Jimmy Fyffe is a free agent now... I would imagine that bridge has been burnt beyond repair though... Paul Finucane would probably have come in handy now as well.
The ball is round and has many surprises.

Things just can't get any worse can they.Yes mooney cost us in a few games lately but overall this season he has been good.Without Paddy purcell at the back we can forget about winning for a while he does the job of two players back there and outside of him brian buckley is the only other defender limerick can depend on.

Paul Fincucane must be laughing now !! . We have shot ourselves in the foot again with our club's treatment of players.

Every Year under this regime we lose 1 or 2 Players , who tend to be our most loyal and able, for non-footballing reasons.

    NOC Out Now !
