Good win needed today V Monaghan

A win will send us to second today, maybe even first if Shams get deducted the 6pts!
    The title is getting closer..............

    Monaghan 3-1 rams
    Rams 4-0 Monaghan

Yeah and a lucky escape you had too....Mons played really well and could easily have had 2 goals in the first half. Leeza hit the back of the net within the first 2 mins but the goal was disallowed for off-side.

Not the best result but remember we were without Breen, Barrett,Warren Mikey O'Shea, Kieran O'Reilly, Falvey and Depuy (his clearance did not come through).
We had two 18 year olds up front (Cambridge and Cummmins), it still is a disappointment but Monaghan have improved a lot in the last month and were apparently at full strength for the 1st time in months. They will take points off other promotion teams too so it's not the end of the world.

right magicme not a great result for us and u had the best opportunities the off side goal and the header but neither cobh or mons played well although ping the ball in the air means good play for u but yes monaghan showed great passion from start to da end but the match was really poor

I thought we were the better side, but only just, in what was a poor enough game. We definitely had the better chances. The referee needs to learn about players leaving the elbow in when competing for a header - both Robbie Farrell and Austin McCann had blood pouring out of them caused by stray elbows.
