What hope does this league have when

the FAI puts out reports like this....

    Crawley a doubt for Town

Athlone Town have doubts surrounding Ronan Crawley as they prepare to face Kilkenny City at St Mel's Park (Kick off 7:45).

Captain Crawley is suffering with a knee injury and manager Jimmy Greene is not hopeful he will make it. The two teams met on the opening day of the season with the game ending in a 1-1 draw. "It was a tough match and I'd say we had the better of the first half while they controlled the second half," Greene told fai.ie.

His counterpart Billy Walsh admitted that he felt "the Cup is coming too early for us. We had a good result against them three weeks ago, but since then we haven't played that well while they got a good draw against Waterford last week." Walsh must plan without Mark Andrews, Pat O'Toole and James Mulcahy who are unavailable through injury.

And for those who don't see anything wrong with that, Ronan Frawley is the brother of last year's captain, Conor Frawley, and he has missed the last two games with his knee anyways.
