21's beaten 1-0 to cork city in cup 1/4

Our u-21's were beaten yesterday by the narrowest of margins by a strong cork city side which had five first team squad players playin. We deserved to win but a lucky goal by city scraped them thru.
Our new keeper was very impressive in goals commandin his area and quick off the line hopefully we can have him in goal every game for the 1st team.
Best defender was steve conway who has been impressing of late and with his pace a and composure a call up to the squad isnt too far away.
Ger Burke and Dave Miller were held their own in midfeild against a strong city midfeild.
Lack of clinical striker proved costly as we had the better chances of scoring but cudn convert.
Although the first team goin poorly our future looks bright with the 21's only loosing once and winnin their previous 6.
    Team was: austin W, s conway, w colbert, p donnagher, g prout, j hayes, g burke, d miller, d ryan, j tierny, g sheehan.

City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

He scored and had another chance later on.

We have a very young 1st team squad so a lot can play for the U21s too.

Only First team bench players play for the U21s. Only newbie Shevlin would have been over age.

Knew that but wondering what he was like over the full 90?
    Quick?

Hopefully, he'll get a fair crack of the whip before the season is out anyway.
