UCD snap up Dublin City's Doyle
    07/08/2006 - 10:37:17

UCD have snapped up former Dublin City defender Keith Doyle to bolster their squad.

The 25-year-old defender joins the Students after turning down a move to Bray Wanderers and will give the young College side some added experience along with Paul Crowley, who signed last week.

    Two days ago apparently?

    He's a left back, isn't he?

    Will he get his game?

Tell all the Bohs you know
that we've gone and won two-in-a-row
and it's not gonna be three
and it's not gonna be four
it's more likely to be 5-1.

Is he utterly useless or did he just get into a rut at Rovers? It's an easier environment with a lot less pressure to perform at UCD.

We were talking to him but that's as far as i went, he was wasn't offered a contract so how could he turn us down ?

Anyway, he had a spell with us a few years back and did very well. I've always liked him as a player but i think he's best days are past him, strange saying that about a 25 year old !

Still waiting to see if he's actually signed. It never appeared on aertel or eleven-a-side and the relevant people who usually confirm these things at the club are on holidays.
