Found this on the Irish Ice Hockey Association site (they make the FAI look good with the amount of dead links):

This week the IIHF member delegates voted for Ireland to host the 2007 IIHF World Championships Div III. IIHA President Cliff Saunders along with Vice-President Mark Bowes put forward the bid after a successful 2006 tournament in Iceland only a couple of week before. Ireland beat Luxembourg in the bid by less than 10 votes out of a total of 104.

The tournament will be hosted in the brand new JJB Sports Ice Dome in Dundalk with seating capacity of approximately 1,000 spectators between 15th to 22nd April 2007. All games will be broadcast live on the internet with full English commentary and hopefully some of the other languages from the teams competing.
