Hibernians coach Robert Gatt has named three Shels players as his side’s biggest threat in tonight’s preliminary round of the Champions League.
Trevor Molloy, Richie Baker and Ollie Cahill have been earmarked for special attention by the Hibernian defence after Gatt was impressed with them in their 3-3 draw with Drogheda United.
"They have lots of good players, but those three are real threats. I saw Shelbourne last week and they are a very good team - physically good.
"They will rise to the game against us and I know they can play better than they did last Thursday," said Gatt.
Only seven of the Hibernian squad are professional, with the top earners taking home a yearly wage of just 3000 Maltese lira (approximately €7800).
