What is the best thing that could happen (for the remainder) of this season? We finish top of the table and are then rightful installed in the new SuperLeague (I don't want to be bumped up because we're the fourth biggest city in Ireland), oh and the League Cup would be nice

And the worst? We continue to prove that we are a mid-table First Division team, and Danny announces he has given NOC a 7 year extension on his contract

Young player to watch? Still has to be Robbie

Most important player? I'd go with Mooney on this one, I still rate the guy, and I think when he is one form he's the best in the First Division

Player you’d like to get rid of? honestly I don't want to single out any individual player because I think our spuad is good enough, we just don't have the direction or tactics to win this league

Is Noel O’Connor the right manager? No

What advise would you give him? Quit now

Which team do you most want to beat? Shamrock Rovers

Which opposing player will get the most stick? CP was released by Cobh wasn't he? Did he wash up in any other First Division team?

Where will we finish? Sadly I'd say 4th behind Rovers, Galway and Cobh in that order

What is the best thing that could happen (for the remainder) of this season?
    We win the First Division.

    And the worst?
We finish 7th, same as last year (or even lower )

    Young player to watch?
    Paul Rose.

    Most important player?
    John Lester.

Player you’d like to get rid of?
No one really. Most have performed well as some time this season.

Is Noel O’Connor the right manager?
    No.

What advise would you give him?
If you're going to bring on a substitute then at least give him 20 minutes to do something instead of 5 or less.

Which team do you most want to beat?
    Shamrock Rovers.

Which opposing player will get the most stick?
    Alan Gough. (Galway United)

    Where will we finish?
    5th.
If you don't like John 3:7...

What is the best thing that could happen (for the remainder) of this season?
The lease is signed, the hard hats move in and we get a 3,000 seater covered stand along one side of the pitch ready for the start of season 2007. We win the League Cup and qualify for the Setanta Cup and get invited to join the premier party (don't care on what grounds).

    And the worst?
Joe takes another u-turn and we slip further down the u-bend. We continue the current slump in form and end up lower than last season.

    Young player to watch?
    Paul Rose

    Most important player?
Noel Mooney - partly because of his important off-pitch job.

Player you’d like to get rid of?
The player I am least impressed with is Kevin Waters but I wouldn't get rid of any player until we have better alternatives. And the squad is too thin now as it is.

Is Noel O’Connor the right manager?
    No

What advise would you give him?
Get more animated. Trust your players. Don't wear brown slacks with a navy blazer.

Which team do you most want to beat?
Loathe though I am to say it - Rovers. But I also love beating Cobh.

Which opposing player will get the most stick?
    The small Rovers fella.

    Where will we finish?
    3rd

What is the best thing that could happen (for the remainder) of this season?
We win the League Cup, Finish top of the league, Get invited to the Premier, Get a new manager, get the Ground sorted and Hogan park is full every week!

    And the worst?
We continue to slide, Hogan park is empty every week, we stay put in the First Division, loose our best players, buy none and nothing changes for next season.

    Young player to watch?
    Paul Rose

    Most important player?
Johnny Lester has shown himself to be vital

Player you’d like to get rid of?
    None just yet

Is Noel O’Connor the right manager?
    No

What advise would you give him?
Show some passion, be present at the match; you have a place on the sidelines for a reason, show your players respect; don't bring a player on to change the game if you're not going to give him the time to make an impact. Have a plan, for when we're winning, drawing and losing.

Which team do you most want to beat?
Shamrock Rovers though it would be nice to beat teams like Athlone too.

Which opposing player will get the most stick?
Anyone who is small, tall, fat, skinny, a goalkeeper, or an outfield player for that matter, in fact anyone not wearing blue....and even then there's no guarentees!

    Where will we finish?
I have a feeling we'll get a good run for a while only to slide again, 5th.

What is the best thing that could happen (for the remainder) of this season?
On the pitch: promotion to the premier league
Off the pitch: Hogan Park is sorted once and for all so we can look forward to a proper football ground.

    And the worst?
We continue to play like we're playing at present. It'll mean mid-table or less, no crowds and us being stuck with a manager who every man and his dog will have lost complete confidence in.

    Young player to watch?
    Robbie Kelleher

    Most important player?
    John Lester

Player you’d like to get rid of?
Anthony Wolfe. I've no problem with his work rate and effort but he's not up to standard. Playing him at centre half defeats the purpose of signing someone like Paddy Purcell and also exposes the manager's shortcomings.....

Is Noel O’Connor the right manager?
    No

What advise would you give him?
Do us all a favour and quit, in future stick to the coaching

Which team do you most want to beat?
    Dundalk. Over and over again....

Which opposing player will get the most stick?
Any 'keeper in front of the shed.

    Where will we finish?
    5th

And the worst? The Opposite of the above

    Young player to watch? Robbie

Most important player? At the mo John Lester

Player you’d like to get rid of? We need to buy players and retain them not get rid of any..Including Paul Finnucane

Is Noel O’Connor the right manager? No

What advise would you give him? Go now before it's too late to turn the season around.

Which team do you most want to beat? Shamrock Rovers

Which opposing player will get the most stick? Gough no Danger

    Where will we finish?
    5th

What is the best thing that could happen (for the remainder) of this season?

We suddenly become hard to beat again, win the League Cup, FAI Cup and end up strolling back to the top of the first division playing the type of football we played in the playoff year. Noel O'Connor is summoned to heaven to allow God to take weekends off, Stephen O'Flynn, Brendan Sweeney and Paul Finucane are just three players who find their way back onto our books and we crush Galway 11-1 close to the end of the season to pay them back for all those soul destroying defeats they've heaped upon us of late with Ciarán Foley spontaneously combusting late on.

And the worst? We go through a spell of four points from nine league games and... oh hang on... It presumably can't get much worse. Though if we were to go down the Dublin City route...

Young player to watch? Robbie Kelleher is already well established in the eyes of everybody but the manager. Wayne Colbert looks promising and Shane Guerin is worth another run in the team too.

Most important player? John Lester. No question.

Player you’d like to get rid of? Kevin Waters. I've actually not seen him beat one player all season which is a damning stat for any winger. About all he's managed is one goal against Dublin City in preseason.

Is Noel O’Connor the right manager? No.

What advise would you give him? Concoct a Plan B, steal it, borrow it, I don't care! We're too predictable by far. Don't be afraid to drop players who aren't playing well, you can take favourites too far. Blood a few of the youngsters, they can't be much worse than a couple of our current incumbents. Make proper use of your substitutions and on those occasions when we do take the lead don't automatically drop everybody behind the ball.

Which team do you most want to beat? Galway United. Mostly for their dear, dear chairman.

Which opposing player will get the most stick? Alan Murphy (Galway United)

    Where will we finish?
    6th. At best.[/QUOTE]
The ball is round and has many surprises.

    Up as Champions.

    And the worst?
    Rock Bottom

    Young player to watch?
    John Boyle

    Most important player?
    There's only two Johnny Lestor's

Player you’d like to get rid of?
No one in particulars although if Sinnott's on big money he can shut the door on his way out.

Is Noel O’Connor the right manager?
Good God NO (Fickle aren't we? )

What advise would you give him?
Oh if only I thought for a second that he'd listen

Which team do you most want to beat?
Can't choose between the franchise, the two neo-republican clubs and the six toed banjo twangers from Queenstown

Which opposing player will get the most stick?
From a personal point of view it has to be lil' Alan Gough, or Pat Scully (technically not a player, I know), or anyone in Claret shirt, or a Dundalk shirt or...........

    Where will we finish?
If O'Connor stays, worringly low I'd imagine
