UCD stalwart Tony McDonnell has been
elected as the new Chairman of the
Professional Footballers' Association
of Ireland.
McDonnell takes over from Stephen
McGuinness who will remain with the
Association as Players' Relations
Officer.
The UCD midfielder has a vast wealth of
league and cup experience having played
in over 300 games and has scored over
30 goals.
McDonnell, who is in his 14th season
with UCD, has been on the PFAI
Management Committee for three years.
