Well for Bohemians. Certainly Stephen O'Brien and particularly Barry fergusson in from Longford have been great signing's for us!

Keith Foy from Monaghan to Sligo Rovers. Darren Mansaram too.

If your talking about fees, then Drogheda buying Zayed from Bray would be the biggest, followed by Barrett from Longford.

I think the Sligo's signing of Choice Aisien would be one of the biggest.
Celtic are going to sign him but he cant get a work permit so will be with us for a season anyway.

In fairness he hasn't played a game yet. It mightn't be a great signing at all yet, give it a while. Tis Celtic's youth manager that is after him, not Celtic's senior team.

What attitude? How can you say it's our biggest signing just cos the champions of Scotland's underage team were looking to sign him too. If he's good after he's played a few games then it's a big signing.

Sean himself said he will be a revelation.BTW,why would Celtic U21s be signing him?Becasue they think he will eventually be a player fit for the Scottish Premeir.

Don't get me wrong, I'm delighted this guy has signed and can't wait til I see him play but give him a few games before you go calling him a "big signing".

Sligoman is right Stars, judge him after he's played a few games and also I've yet to see one actual quote or reference to Celtic being interested other than someone outwith of the club saying that they were interested....

Big tansfers during the 06 season

    Bohs signing Paul Devlin
Pats signing Keith Fahey from Drogheda
Drogheda signing Eamon Zayed from Bray

All others are squad players moving down, or first division/UK rejects moving up, and therefor not notable

Shane Barrett was last year. Eamon Zayed is the biggest money move all right. (€35K, €100K, €250,000,€1.7M (Pick one figure))

Surely the biggest transfer of 06 will be Georgie to, well, wherever he ends up.

Could not have seen it coming a few months ago and looks like its seriously affecting Cork.
Hunky Dorys Park - could be worse, we could be going to Old Trafford every other week

Well the Barrett transfer happened during the window for the 06 season which opened in Jan, so it was the biggest fee prior to Zayed. Incidentally these are the two biggest transfer fees ever agreed between Irish clubs.

From our point of view Mark O'Brien coming home from exile in gypoland, and Myler from Longford will hopefully be a big signing if he's ever fit.
