I wish illeducated people like yourself would get your facts right, the ultras wear the rovers jersey and bring colour to our games like the giant flags and flares, etc. They have nothing to do with the small number of troublemakers who don't wear the shirt.Originally Posted by anto1208

The Germans and the Poles had far more arrested than the English, maybe the programme makers should've had a word with Gunter the Hooile fixer or whatever his name was , instead of following some 18 year old chav scum and his mates. The Germans should'ved rounded them all up in one big field let them all kill each other and let everybody else get on and enjoy the tournament.Originally Posted by trevy

But the programme was produced by the BBC, it wasn't an exposé of hooliganism at the World Cup, it was a story on English people causing trouble during the World Cup. of course they concentrated on their own.

A rediculous and insulting statement such as his deserves such a reply. With no info or reason he comes out with a 100% untrue statement,so he is either illeducated or winding people up,probably both to be fair.Originally Posted by NeilMcD

Well your the big Facts man. Thought you'd rely on actual evidence more than hearsay when it comes to the rigourous screening procedure you apply to your msg board postings!
That may or not be the case but I think you do yourself more credit if you slag the post rather than the poster.

my guess is none
Where is your evidence for this and I dont like the way you are trying to turn these threads into a personal thing. I would rather talk about the topics and the subjects of the threads rather than the people posting. I would prefer if you did likewise.

I'm not looking for credit, anyway this thread is veering off course,I've made my point so yous can go back to talking about the programme or hooliganismOriginally Posted by NeilMcD

Very observant of you. And if you watch this programme you'll know why. With the exception of the Stuttgart Polizei, the Germans were taking a touchy-feely approach to the scum, while certainly not to their own. They may have good reasons (like the Germans (hooligans and Hells Angells in particular) were 'professionals' and would probably kill a few tans if allowed the same freedom (which wouldn't be a bad idea on last night's evidence)), but they were certainly much more tougher on the locals.Originally Posted by Dublin12
Yeah we know that every country, even our own, has a 'lunatic fringe', but the border between those on the margins that go into a Motorway laybys and perform a perverted form of WWF's Rumble Royale, and those who actually couldn't care less for the aggro, is very thin. As thin for the Poles and the Germans (which we will see in September) as it is for us, IMO. With the tans this border - a so called middle ground where 'decent' fans through drink indulge in anti-social behaviour normally resulting in arrest (racist singing, minor assault, theft (of other fans flags))- is far greater a percentage. While the hard core, as the evidence of Huddersfield Town supplying three tw*ts whose b*llocks just dropped last week explains, is dwindling, it takes little direction to get these w*nkers going. It makes me laugh to see the BBC interviewing so called 'decent' fans pictured with blow up spitfires - the equivalent of us wearing balaclavas - and singing songs about the war. Meester English po-leeeece-man got it right by claiming the 'moral direction of certain parents' disturbs him. Sad, sad muppets.
This is the cooooooooooooolest footy forum I've ever seen!
What bearing has your question on the nature of this thread.
