Cork are without 4 first team players, trying to pull a goal, or as of now, 4 goals back in Eastern Europe. AC Milan would find it hard, never mind Cork. No wonder he's still on the managerial skip!

Maybe next year, our CL side won't have to go to Eastern Europe in QR2. Somewhere manageable like Norway or Sweden would be nice instead. You know how we love to face Swedish sides.

Haha, your too kind. I do have a job though and a long suffering girlfriend who seems to put up with me.. Glad to be of help. We extended the servcie on shelsweb for the whole league so hopefully we will get a numebr of games a week covered.

Hard luck to Cork. 2 minutes and 1 down was always a killer. Red Star looked very good. But anyone else wonder if their defence isnt any good under pressure?

Didnt see the game tonight but last week they looked shaky alright......if only we'd had a natural finisher on the field

He's right that the squad is too small, but would he mind telling us how Cork are supposed to strengthen it when Revenue are knocking on the door?

"Expand the squad" is an analyst's (and a fan's) solution to everything, regardless of any sort of grounding in reality.

Zvezda looked dodgy when Cork got a chance to go at them. Can see them scoring against AC, but conceding one or two more.

Thought the goal keeper for Red star was a bit dodgy and defence slipped up once or twice. Milan should beat them comfortable though.

We were outclassed, we should have got at least 1 though.
Roy had a super chance, Addy hit the bar, Colin had a shot, Behan had a free header from 6 yards.
Thought Benno was dragged in the box at the end, probably would have been given at the other end.
Disappointed we didn't have a decent striker on the pitch.

    your man O'Callaghan was terrible.

How isn't Bennett playing at a higher level.

Corkies finishing was terrible, Behan and O'Donovan had great chances 10/15 yards out.

It's amazing how O'Brien is your record appearances at Euro level because he was completely switched off in the 1st min. and cost a goal.

    Ref was pretty bad also.

Hard luck Cork - little chance of progression after the 1st leg. Playing Behan up front (more or less) alone in TC proved costly.

Had all of 3 euro on 3-0 at 11/2. Rich beyond my wildest dreams.

None of the World Club Cup teams are interested in him.
    City just not good enough.
I reckon if George, Gamble, Danny and Flynn were playing we could have got a result at the Cross.
    But they weren't.
    Responsibility must be accepted.

You can't expect a centre-half to make his debut in the Champions League against Red Star Belgrade and adjust.
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.
