What's the points total so far from Irish clubs??
Both teams have a decent chance of progressing. Woukd certainly expect to earn some more precious co-efficients.
Excellent away trip for the Derry lads too. Don't know where Start are from but they came 2nd last year after getting promoted the year before. Norway typically expensive to travel to though.

He's a lot more level headed than Abramovich. He's trying to make the club self sustainable after he dies and he sits amongst the fans and travels with them. Watch out for Kenny Deuchar, a qualified GP and a highly prolific goalscorer. John O'Neil was also a good playmaker in his days at Hibs and Alan Main was a great goalkeeper for many years. There's also a host of other names that have played for SPL clubs in there.Originally Posted by De Town
Ah I know he doesn't have his sort of money but he's been pumping money into them like Ambramovich, just not the same amount of money!Originally Posted by Dodge

We're gonna have a load of fans over for this! ****ing brilliant bus and boat and getting drunk![]()
I tried do some research on Start, i tried reading the website in my best Norwegian accent but i still couldn't understand it. That's about the only effort I'm going to make. I hope they underestimate their opposition and Drogs go through. For the more knowledgeable out there, how many internationals have they got and how good are they on a scale of 1-10. 1 being Bohs, 10 begin Shels.![]()
They won the 2nd division this year with 18 points to spare! (over Morton who had another 13 points over 3rd place) so they would fancy themselves to be promoted again this season at that rateOriginally Posted by De Town

All of this has happened before. All of it will happen again.
By the way, as far as I know, Gretna are using Partick Thistle's ground in Glasgow which makes travel even easier for the Derry fans. You could expect a good 1,000 maybe?
They're in Scottish Div 1 but will probably win it if mileson keeps putting in money so more realistic to regard them as a mid table Scot Prem side.Originally Posted by wws

From the Gretna website!
Gretna were beaten in their penultimate pre-season friendly, losing 3-0 to Morecambe at Christie Park.
Goals from Garry Hunter, Danny Carlton & Michael Twiss gave the Conference side victory over the Scottish Division 2 Champions.
Gretna’s final friendly match before the start of the season takes place this Saturday (29th July) as the Black and Whites entertain Coca-Cola League 2 side Hartlepool United at Raydale Park (kick off 2pm).
