Where did you hear this? I'd love to se them reform, but I'd say Carl will want to make sure Pete has sorted himself out before he even considers it
pete and carl met up this week in a london pub had a little chat .
pete hinted at it on johnny ross and when asked about a reunion he said its going to happen sometime may aswell be now

would be great if it happened but surely we want to see the smiths and the stone roses back first??

You're more likely to see beatles reform than Smiths or Stone Roses...

i hope the libs get back together pete is trying to get clean ( as much as any junkie tries) and since it was carl that gave him his first hard drugs i think he has a bit to play in helping him get off them .
but he went off the rails completely when the libs kicked him out so maybe getting back in will sort him again .
I wasn't aware the Libs (man) had broken up. I thought they'd merely dispensed with the services of the grey faced lollipop shaped junkie.

I reckon the Roses are likely to reform, mainly because i spend so much time thinking about it.
City definetly have the best bands playing at half-time.

G.O'Mahoney Trapattoni'll sort ém out!!
join the club, risteard , join the club, has squire done any solo or seahorses stuff recently ? seems to me ian brown is doing far more...

Never gonna happen. Too much has happened to ever repair that musical relationship. Barat has a new successful band in the shape of DPT and doesn't need Pete. Pete has the Babyshambles who are sh** hot live when he turns up!!!
Ian Brown has gone on record (Uncut a couple of issues ago) that the Stone Roses reunion will never happen. They have been offered millions to return and they always say no. A shame.

Am I wrong or wasn't it the case that an Original Stone Rose actually played with one of their tribute bands for a while?
Ian Brown used them as a backing band for a while when he started doing the Roses stuff again.
Squire has done some new tapes instrumental only and they are up on his site.
They were posted to Brown apparently. That and the Strangeways Maltesers are their only contact in 10 years.
What did ya think of the solo albums, Roger Milla?
I thought Time Changes Everything was brilliant and was hugely let down by Marshalls House.
I reckon the 4 of them want it (defo the 3).
Brown has an ego and prob reckons he'll lose the street-cred. Prob thinks the safest option is not to bother.

Mani played with the Complete Stone Roses for a bit.Originally Posted by CollegeTillIDie

Or is he afraid that if they reform and record a comeback album, it won't be as good as the first couple?Originally Posted by Risteard
risteard , i liked both albums but not exactly blown away.
college in fairness it woould be tough for them to top their first album anyway but if they came up with soemthing of the same standard as the second coming or perhaps even better then the reunion would be worth it , there were some stand out tracks on that album
