De Multi did show the highlights on Wednesday night, but that's no use to ou Dalo, I suppose...
Great to see O'Flynn's second goal, as I did not really see it properly from the shed and it was a beauty...![]()
has anybody seen the city goals on TV at all. i got a email from TV3in response to a query about when they will start showing NL games and they said not until OCT.
I also presume RTE having been snubbed are not going to show any NL goals at all? If so that's pathetic- another kick in the teeth for us and hardly sends out any postive vibes to people to come out and watch live footie
john flynn? - awesome!!!!!!

a thing of beauty is a joy to behold indeed.
i was on the donie forde stand when flynn scored. i still tell all the guys in work about it but of course being premiership "fans; they ain't too interested.![]()
at what time do the multi show the highlights- i 'll get the mother to tape it

RTE have the tv rights until October so i suppose tv3 can't do much about that.....
I wonder will tv3 be using the eL as a sort of trial run to show the FAI they'd be capable of screening live home internationals.....
Multi showed highlights (1/2hr) Wed and Thurs.18:30, 20:30 and 22:30. probably won't show it again though. Very impressive display and the goals looked even better.
We are Football
The whole thing is stupid. They shouldn't be making contracts that end half way through seasons, but then this is the FAI.
I actually perfered O'Flynns 1st form the Shed, you could see the swerve better. Im glad to see the 3rd from a propper angle. Am I the only one to think that Chorus could have splashed out a bit more and bought a better quality videotape? Thats just me being picky I suppose. It was good that they had 2 cameras there though. Did anyone notice the guy sitting down in the main stand wearing the Pats jursey. A spy mission?![]()
As I say, we're just young & a bit nieve.
Chorus only reaches a very small amount of people, many people are subscibers to Sky Digital and there are others who dont subscribe to Multichannel tv at all. At least, before we were able to see the goals on Sky on a friday evening (the soccer show) but now for those of us who are subscibed to sky and not Chorus find it very hard to see the el goals.
Even though their deal doesnt come into effect until October, TV3 already seem to be to be doing a lot of el related coverage, they have had quite a bit about Pats in europe over the last few weeks and tonight look out for an indepth interview with Bohs boss Stephen Kenny.
Tv3 may not have the cash RTE have but they were doing previews on eL matches all through last season dispite being unable to show any pictures. They even did a profile of Gunthers football course on the Tramore Rd too.Originally posted by COLM
