Murphy is the best keeper in the league for some time and I am not being biased.

that we've gone and won two-in-a-row
and it's not gonna be three
and it's not gonna be four
it's more likely to be 5-1.

Altho Fordey makes a few mistakes he more than makes up for them. Against gothenburg, he made two world class saves and kept us in front. He always comes up trumps in the big games so i wudnt go as far as saying he's atrocious.Forde is atrocious and as far as I can see is Derry's weakest point by a stretch...(as has been mentioned on here before )
IMO he is easilly the best. There are some excellent keepers around - Murphy, Ryan, Quigley, dont really rate Forde but Devine, IMO is definitly the best.Originally Posted by Dodge
I think he is the best by a mile - Im entitled to my opinion and thats what I think. Also Im not biased
I have to agree, not being bias but Devine IMO is international standard with only Shay Given ahead of him. His performances against DIF away, Prague away and Limassol away have been breathtaking and without him we would not have won the league or progressed far in Europe over the years.Originally Posted by joema
For me the best player in the league, is Joey Ndo, followed closely by Gamble.
You're not talking about Barry Murphy are you?Originally Posted by d f x-

A leading authority on League of Ireland football since 2003. You're probably wrong.
Darren Mansaram is one of the best strikers at the moment, not been biased.

He comes across as very clumsy, just pushes his way to the ball and is all over the place.Originally Posted by Dodge

Fenn did nothing tonight. Farrelly is a better player

Farrelly was a better player when both were at their best but im afraid times have changed
the first time i saw him i thought the same but he isnt.Originally Posted by adamcarr

Agreed. Thought Fenn was ****e tonight.Originally Posted by Dodge
I actually thought Fenn was decent enough tonight- 7/10 IMO. At times his passing was slopy and he miscontroled once or twice but in general I thought he played well. Also you have to take into account the fact that there was no GO'C or Gamble so he had to drop even deeper than usual - IMO he certainly wasnt "****e"Originally Posted by De Town
I thought he was poor but not poor enough to mention it until Dyl10's post above

Yeah maybe ****e was too harsh but I honestly think he's gradually got worse. I was at the Cork-Nantes match at Turners X a few years ago and Fenn was brilliant then. Every time I saw him recently he isn't the same player IMO.Originally Posted by joema
He was unreal in that game alright and i'd love to say he is always that good but he is not BUT he most definitely is not sh*te, he lays off some passes at times which are unreal, he is very strong in holding it up aswell and his vision is probably the best in the City team. Problem the other night was he was missing three players who are normally right beside him and who work well together.Originally Posted by De Town
