We had a takeaway on Friday then the big party sat night (from which i'm still recovering!!!) stayed up allll night-we had massive sound-system, fireworks and loads of dancing and booze

Just been taking stock of the gifts:

• HMV voucher
• £15 book vouchers
• New Celtic European shirt, Celtic towel and calander with photos of me and my girlfriend -from my girlfriend
• 2 sets of shower gel etc.
• Celtic mug
• 18 mug
• a teddy!!!
• TV/DVD player
• a french stick (don't ask!!!)
• a box of chocolates
• Digital camera
• shirt + shorts
• plate, cup and bowl set for uni
• 4 books (the State of Africa, China shakes the world, Failed states, the Dangerous Book for Boys)
• Parker pen

Anyway I didnt wat to turn 18 I liked the fact that I was able to get into over 18s niteclubs when I was 16 and get served drink. Dont like the fact that im turning 19 in Sep

hmmmm legal things to do once 18 are:

buy alcohol or drink it on a liscensed premisise
go and see an 18 movie
get married without parental consent
get a loan
get a morgage
get a credit card
rent a car
consent to homosexual sex
apply for your adoptive records
sue or be sued
go to a real prison (not young offenders)

first 2 i did occasionally before but haven't done since -next 5 i'll probably do in some years last 4 i never intend to do

I know -those are the thigns and I haven't done any of them yet cept the first two which i did before i was 18
