    Kevin Grogan

Just found this article, very good read. Jesus i feel so sorry for the bloke. I remember hearing Ryan Giggs saying that he was the most skillful young player he had ever seen......

    Done.....

If he can stay injury free and get 100% fit then you will have the best player in the league, but i fear for him ! he was with us after being told he had the all clear again, BUT, the injury's started creaping in and after a few months he was constently out.

I had a similar injury and still haven't recovered properly 5 years after first feeling the pain in my groin. So I can empathise with the lad. Hope he makes it back

Same with us. Same with Millwall, whom he joined after leaving us. Would imagine the same will happen with Pat's (he was training with them before I think, between leaving us and joining Millwall). Great player but plagued with injuries. Certainly a loss to the league.

terrible story for the young fella but he seemed to take it very well and didnt fell sorry for hmself.
It is common for 16 year olds to have trouble witht their knees.
It happened me aswell and had to take about a year off to rest them.
it payed off but he was obvisouly at a much higher level than me.
Wish him all the best on his road to recovery.

Alex Ferguson appeared at the top of the stairs and roared: "Grogan, get up here."
When I got into his office and closed the door he took a Machete out of his draw, caught me in a headlock and put the knife to my throat. "I'm the boss," he said.
That was some introduction, but, once those pleasantries were finished, he sat me down and told me how well I had done over the week.
He told me to keep my feet on the ground and said that if I kept improving that they would be keen to sign me when I turned 16.
When I was leaving his office he called me back and asked me who I supported. I turned around and, without thinking, said "Liverpool". Out came the Machete again and, with a wry smile, he repeated the question and added: "You are one of us now son."

MCDONNELL TO GIVE FIT AGAIN GROGAN A CHANCE
Pat’s boss John McDonnell hopes to sign ex-Irish youth start Kevin Grogan this week.

McDonnell unveiled new signings Keith Fahey and ex-Leeds United midfielder Brenton Leister yesterday, with Fahey likely to start against Longford Town tonight.

Former Manchester United trainee Grogan has been told he can resume playing following a career-threatening pelvic problem.

‘If Kevin can prove his fitness we’ll sign him until the end of the season,’ McDonnell said.

Paul Keegan is likely to miss out with a hamstring strain so Chris Armstrong could make his first start of the season.

Longford have an injury crises with defenders Kevin Doherty (calf) and Stephen Paisley (hamstring) joining Shay Kelly and Dave Mooney on the treatment table.

I reckon Fergie should take Quinns place and try to get the barstoolers away from the premier**** with Machete
