Total crap, a few players who have yet to perform this season looked tired, from what i dont know. If this blip (4 losses in last 7) doesent turn round in the next two or so weeks i think its time someone(s) were shown the door. It was a poor a performence as last year. The crowd were quite and as one man said "lads there not playing cos ye're not singing," response..."hea, if they dont work, we dont work." sums it up really.
You're dead right there Gael. It was at a similar point last season when things started going wrong, and from a position of chasing promotion we ended up finishing in 7th. If this were to happen again then that certain someone has definitely got to go. Now is the time to see what he's made of. And by the substitutions made last night (and when they were made) it's not looking like much at the moment.Originally Posted by gael353

There's always Limerick 37!
Agree Lads the Parallels with last season are there to be seen. We seem to start seasons well under this management but for some reason cannot keep the momentum going when we get to mid season.
That said , however, our Squad is Tiny, The Bench is fairly weak and we continue to haemhorrage players like Finny, who is far better than some of our starters.
Last night though we had at least 2 DStonewall Penos not given, hit the post 4 times. You get nights like that. Much in evidence was that we missed Lester in midifeld so much.

What, you mean we've had a game where Limerick haven't been awarded a penaltyOriginally Posted by joeSoap

Maybe its from playing 7 games in 22 days? And we have such a small squad most of the players have played all of those games.Originally Posted by gael353
What is even more worrying is the line-up for the coming two weeks when we play Leeds on Tuesday, Kildare on Friday, Cobh the following Tuesday and Galway on Friday. There had better be an u-21 team put on next Tuesday.
Its asking too much of such a small squad to continue to challenge in every competition. I'm worried too that the season ends in disappointment and a mid-table finish. As long as we can keep competing the other clubs look like dropping points all over the place. By all accounts we had no luck last Friday and we can't complain given our good fortune in some of the 1-0 wins over the season. Not time to press to panic button yet.![]()

Totaly agree with you, 7 games in 22 days wud take its toll on any full time team never mind a semi pro team with the same players playing every game and thats were the squad comes into it to give players a rest but we dont have the depth in the squad to do that and with the weather getin hotter and hotter i just hope our lads will continue performin to show why we are a serious team this season!
