    TV3 Coverage....

Just got a mail in response to a question I asked with regard to the coverage off Roy Dooney....
The contractual obligation on TV3 is for a dedicated programme, although at this stage he's unsure how this will break down between highlights and features. He does appear confident that it will be an improvement on RTE's coverage, and indicated that TV3 WANTED to cover the eL.....
He also indicated that the reason why they won't start coverage until October is because the current deal doesn't finish until the end of September.... i.e. RTE still hold the rights up till then....
If you attack me with stupidity, I'll be forced to defend myself with sarcasm.

I think thats all fair enough. I still think highlights will go into one of those sports tonight shows but that not a disaster.

Even if their coverage ain't as good as RTE i think tv3 may be a lot more enthuastic - just imagine what they'd do for full live internationals.

RTE only gave the eL coverage as was similarily part of the internationals deal.
