cypriates look very ordinary. not surprised cork scored. Should kick on and score one or two more to seal the tie. Is that a Munster rugby corner flag?

According to Ger Canning, the German coach of Apollon speaks English to most of the players. One of the Greek players who knows English then translates instructions for the non-English speaking Greek speaking players.
One of his assistants who comes from Iraq, speaks Iraqi to the players from Iraq. Never heard of that language. Used to know a man from Iraq who spoke English and his mother tongue was Arabic

Try xscores.com, they're sightly better than livescore - despite being run by livescore. Does that make sense?

Thanks for the updates lads keep em coming.

Despite all the channels I have here in work the only game of footie I could find tonight was some friendly on German TV involving Kaiserslautern. They won 16-0

Have about 10 channels that seem to be showing Zidanes interviews on a loop though

    Ohhh for good old RTE

Cork need to go on and score more than 1 goal. Very ordinary team this Cypriot outfit.

Yes but this is the Cypriots first competitive game of their season. Roy O'Donovan got injured and none of the Apollon players kicked the ball out so he could get treatment. The Cypriot team's players are a bunch of diving cheats.
Dave Barry reckons the game is getting a bit nasty at the moment.

86 minutes Apollon have a free kick just outside the box. Sosin takes it and it hits the bottom of the upright and bounced back into play.

Apollon hit inside of post from a free-kick. Cork very lucky. 87 mins gone!

O'Donovan fouled on the right not far outside the Apollon penalty area. Free-kick City. Fenn's kick head down to O'Brien whose reaction kick never troubled the Apollon goal.
