    Crumlin U21s

First off just wanna say they look a decent enough team and deserved atleast the draw they got v pats on saturday but whats the story with them playing on an astro pitch ? and not even a good one at that....
The ball was bouncing all over the place on saturday and with the rain too players were slipping all over the place and it was lucky there was no bad injuries (especially seeing as pats had no physio there....)

Think the pitch has been approved by UEFA. I'd imagine the players were not using the correct footwear as the pitch will take a full stud. Would expect Crumlin to hold their own in U21 league as they produce many, many fine players.

Crumlin produce many fine players ???? But how many of them are poached from other clubs?? This is true and other clubs are never given the credit they deserve crumlin have no time for the kids who fall over the ball even though the may have a desire to play and a williness to learn at under 7 and under 8. And how many of these players that do play u7 and u8 etc are still playing for this wounderful Crumlin when they reach under 21's??????

Its a fact of life that certain clubs cherry pick the best players, and concentrate on them totally. Other clubs like Home Farm, Belvedere, Cherry Orchard, ect do the same thing. Kids usually find their own level. The important thing is that the get a game of football, be it with the local side or, if they are good enough, with one of the elite clubs. As regards credit, well if they are good enough to go across the water, every club the child played for is entitled to compensation.
