If you have a question just ask!

There is no "strike" the referees have lives too and some are off while in addition to this there is now ladies football on sunday this also takes away some refs. so I am sorry to dissapoint any one who would have liked a bit of strife but there is no issue between the refs and the league.
however there is always a requirement for more refs so if anyone is willing to don the black please make contact

Foot.ie! hate thm but we need them

I think there was a rule before that every club must supply a ref, it was never really enforced. I think other leagues have it in operation. I dont think its a money issue with the refs, its just the way the world is today, people like having there weekends free.

There was talk of such a rule but as you said it was never implemented. It is a good idea that clubs should be able to supply a ref, even if they were only used in emergency situations.

There was never an actual rule that each club had to supply a referee. Clubs wouldnt have voted in a rule like that as there is no guarantee they could supply the ref.

There was however a campaign to encourage clubs to put forward associate referees or full referees a couple of seasons ago. If I remember correctly only one candidate came out of it.
    18 times, and that's a fact.

Second time replying to your posts today!

You really should check your facts before posting (or ask whoever is feeding you to give you better information)

The treasurer was not forced to resign nor did the treasurer resign. However due to an ongoing appeal process I can't and won't comment further until the matter is fully resolved.

I am not the treasurer but I do know that the grant for the lights has been processed and issued. You really need to speak with your handler and get some up to date info if your going to spout rubbish on any site!!!!

Calm down longtimefan, put your questions without all the !!!!!'s as its the equivalent of shouting at people, I'm sure you'll get someone to give you the answers to your queries.

LONGTIMEFAN...Your attitude and tone is exactly what WAS wrong with The council..there is a new attitude comming out from the council at the moment and it is long overdue. I was there the night the forms were issued and the behaviour of some one of your Real ldmc members was a disgrace.... I could also tell a few stories about the same people and other behaviour that the nazi party wouldn't put up with.. my club had to go to council with some of his behaviour because it had gone beyond a joke... what is your opinion on the ldmc website????

You have no idea what the real long time members do for clubs, and they will keep fighting for the clubs this ldmc website is just there to make some members look bad and is for propaganda.

Oh Yes i have and what a sorry bunch some of them are, Not all may i add, a small minority..what clubs would these "real long time members" be fighting for? i take it that you think that lenght of service is the be all and end all of competence...it happens in all walks of life , new blood comes in and regenerates the organisation, if this does not happen the organisation will go stale, set in its ways and wither...

as for the website being propaganda... grow up.. all info is propaganda in the wrong hands...and my has there been plenty of wrong hands in jackman...are you saying that the present PRO is Mr Goobells..?

The clubs are the bigest ones in limerick and they are leading the charge for to change this committee. how can you call the pro a real pro when there are hardly no notes every week in the chronicle!! and how do we know the information given out on this website is the right information!!

because you have a load of games listed that are not on for clubs and if clubs want a game off they now have to go to the committee and beg for it to be off

last season a club had to give 2 weeks notice to get a match called off
    fair enough
this season it requires 12 days notice and you can request this online,
    fair enough

dont understand your point about getting matches off

before you could contact the fixtures secretary and he could handle it now you have to go to the committee to get a game off! and what if your missing players or someone is injured! and its too late for 12 days

Its up to the clubs to provide the notes not the LDMC. All the website shows is fixtures, results and news. There are no opinions just facts. Hardly propaganda.
