in all fairness to anto he´s not a bad player but i think his best days are gone. He likes to go missing every now and again on the pitch, a loose cannon to say say the least
It'll be a while before Bohs see the real money. The initial money will just keep them ticking over. Due to Dicker's increasing pile of U-21 caps, I think it'll be easy to argue his value in a tribunal. I'll give him to you in exchange for Baz Ryan and Anto Murphy.Originally Posted by thegit

A lot of your fans seem to be on his back from what I read. I'd gladly have him back at Belfield.Originally Posted by thegit

Possibly. Then sell Quigley on for a good fee. But I don't think Baz likes us very much.Originally Posted by thegit

how much would Cork be looking for to sign George?
Sean Connor might be interested.

George just needs to be loved & get some attention from time to time. Not be surprised if this all forgotten this time next week.
It would be a shame to see Georgie go ..... one of the few players in this league I love watching

I hear he's going to an el club this week for 50K

Well we know he hates Shels and after the Kearney thing it would hardly be them. I think the only club that can afford that kind of money is Drogs and they did try to sign him before.
We'd still have Pat McCourt !!Originally Posted by sonofstan

Not for a long time to come Face. Paddy ripped his hamstring in Sligo! Although we still have Skillian Brennan.

I've only seen McCourt once this season but from what I saw he doesn't contribute that much to the Derry side. He doesn't have much of an end product. Ciaran Martyn is a far more integral part of the team.Originally Posted by Speranza
I've seen McCourt twice at Tolka this year and on the TV a couple of times and on EL Weekly. While he's lazy at times and can be marked out of a game (like in Derry Shels Setanta game) he's by far the most talented player in the league. I'd put him marginally ahead of Ndo in the talent stakes as I believe he contribtes more in terms of asists. McCourt is the only player in the league I'd have us break the bank for. Absolutely fantastic player
I'd definitely put him ahead of Ndo ... mainly because we never get to see Ndo !!Originally Posted by LeixlipRed

McCourt definitely has a little bit of magic in his boots. Not a very Pat Fenlon type player as he is prone to put his hands on his hips when the ball's not at his feet. But it's great to have a talent like that in the league. Hopefully the injury will clear up soon.
Meanwhile back on topic, here's hoping O'Callaghan stays in the league too. Like him or not, he's great to watch when on form.

Johnny Mc was talking to Georgie today. Not entirely sure I'd want him at Pats or that we could afford him (even allowing for *alleged* new fairy godfather ) but that's what I was told.
