Judas Diary ...I barely remember. From Galway yes?
QUOTE]
Yeah, their singer Eoin Killeen was a brother of ex Galway United players Connor and Ronan Killeen. They had a unique original sound and were excellent live. there used to be around 15-20 people on stage they had big brass section, 2/3 drummers, and heaps of other guest musicians.that was probably their problem too many people to make decent money. They were big in Germany they spent a while out there.
they released a few E.Ps in the early to mid 90's. they then seemed to gamble everything on the single "Jolie" which got half way up the Irish charts. It had a ridiculous video with the singer going up and down Grafton St. in a bumblebee suit. It was an OK song but it wasnt near their best song and was a strange choice for a single. They disappeared after that, it was a pity those Roisin Dubh gigs were legendary.
