Does anyone know what the story is with Skippy. First, i heard he was retiring, then a reliable source told me he wasnt but in the Star today it says he has retired.

Im confused

I was reading the Examiner today and they were giving the lowdown on what players were signed or released for each club. In "Out" for City were Ollie ($hels), Derek (Bohs) and then it said Morley (unavailable).

So God knows what that means

Wasnt it said in another thread that he was unavailable for a while because of work commitments. I dont know how true that is, but its what I heard.

I think i heard the same story. But i was under the impression that he had retired at the end of last season anyway

The programme last night suggested that he had gone his seperate way from the club. Its a shame that himself and Jonny C didnt get a testimonial.

from what i heard he is temporarily unavailable but will return to the club as soon as possible...apparently he is unable to give the club the time that is needed at the moment but as soon as he has more free time he'll be back...he was out at the game last night with fergie o'donoghue

Yeah, I noticed that. Brian Lennox, in his programme notes, wished Skippy and Caulfield all the best for the future.

i will assassinate morley friday night but as he is not as stupid as he looks( i know , i was surprised too) i can't say where for fear he might hide,something he has made an art form of, the only man since houdini who can disappear for an hour an half in front of a couple of thousand people....if you meet him don't tell him as i want it to be a surprise...cheers.
