    Rumour Mill

Saying as the transfer window is around the corner i've started a thread of rumours or done deals for players coming and going. I'll start off then..

We have signed Darren Kelly and are currently talking to Owen Morrison. As for departures it seem eamon doherty is on his way. His contract is up at the end of the year so he mite stay till then.

According to the Cork forum they are signing Karol Poborsky! I kid you not, Leeside delusion continues!
"The Derry fans were fantastic in both matches. They sang their hearts out all the time and created an even better atmosphere than the Cup Final. They were brilliant. - David Graham, Gretna striker

The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

Ha ha ha, can't believe you're so thick that you couldn't see what that thread was actually about! You probably turned up in Drugheada for the anti Cork meeting too!

He's hardly going to get a look in when Kelly starts playing ?

He's a special player by all accounts.

He's looked pretty abysmal and disinterested this season.

Cork seem to have enough cover up front...I imagine a winger would be top of your shopping list?

Im hoping Kearney comes back in July.

Scoring goals has been a big problem for us. We don't have a striker who is going to score 20 goals like a Farren or a Byrne. John O'Flynn is a great finisher but he doesnt pose the constant threat to defences like he did 2 season ago.

Zayed is quick and has a presence up front. I hate talking about potential but he has a lot of good qualities.

Read 2 contradictory articles re. Zayed on Friday. One claimed he'd turned town the Drogs because he wasn't able to commit to full time football right now, the other said he was excited at the prospect of turning full tiime and awaiting offers

Leech is suppose to be joining GUFC on loan for the rest of the season along with maybe a few more from Drogheda.

If it's left up to Leech to decide who he wants to join, Galway or Rovers there's only one winner. Of course he may not have a choice

We've been linked with a sprightly 34 year old Paul Devlin (Walsall) and that denizen of hard work ethic and professionalism Alan Moore. Good God.
