We won 2-1. Drogheda in the QF. With Bray or someone else in the semis so probably Bray if we get through.

Paul Knight - the lad over from Newcastle/Middlesboro who ended up not going to Glenavon - scored both.

    Bray have Kildare, I think.

Rovers drew 3-3 with Pat's. A good day all round as Rovers are about the only other threat to us besides Bray.

What was the team like? Were there many first team players?

No idea to any of those questions. Maccer texted the scorer.

A wet and windy Saturday morning in Foster’s sorted the men most definitely from the boys. UCD absolutely battered Bray in what turned out to be a fiery affair, both goals coming from Timmy Purcell (UCD new scholar) courtesy of Conan Byrne’s cross and the 2nd from P Byrne header across goal. UCD looked very solid at the back but unfortunately gave away a sloppy goal which came from a kick out and should have been dealt with. In the end UCD played much the better football and really should have scored more. It now leaves UCD in the driving seat in the league, a number of players shone like the centre halfs brilliant David Last and Evan Macmillan and Kieran Harte and Conan Byrne.

Conan Byrne, there's a blast from the past. Has he added any yards to his pace?

Christ that's painful to look at.

So many abbreviations and all caps. Ouch!

Bray were playing I can't remember today, think it was Kildare, at home and we were playing Pats away. Aertel don't have the results up yet so does anyone know how these went?

Our Enda McGuill Quarter-Final against Drogheda is on Tuesday, 7.45pm in Belfield.

    We lost 1-0 to Pats.

Aertel still inept and don't have the scores up so don't know how Bray got on. And I forgot to confirm who they were playing

It'll be very tight if we're going to make it to the next round.
