After playing crap for most of the games to be only 6pts adrift is a miracle.

There's a pretty damn good left back sitting in the stand every week who has played for GUFC for over ten years and he's only about 30 or 31.He might have lost a yard but he makes up for it elsewhere.

As everyone knows, I won't disagree with you there Paddyfield but Mike has completed his Uefa B coaching badge and is at the moment considering several options to move into player/management so a return IMO would be out of the question, although he still says he would love to return all the same as he still loves the club he spent the last 10 and a half years playing for.

See your point Demoshield, but remember he has access to players at a higher level and you dont have to be a genius/or go to see div 1 games to see the quality of football in the first division is poor. So naturally any incoming players should be an improvement. As long as its not a case of jobs for the boys or half the team training in Dublin i dont mind.
