Spanish daily 20 Minutos claims Nostradamus tipped Spain to win the World Cup. It quotes one of his prophecies as follows: "In the sixth month of 2006 the King of Spain will cross the Pyrenees with his troops. The legions of Beelzebub will battle him in central Europe and suffer doom and destruction. The Holy Grail will then come to Spain." (Press Association)

but who are the legions of Beelzebub they're referring to?

To be honest Nostradamus's predictions are vague at best and can be given to mean many different things.

Also the final is on in the 7th month so that puts and end to that.

"Prediction" only says Spain will travel to battle in the sixth month, which they did. Mentions nothing about the date of victory.

Well they will be due to meet in the semis, if they meet at all, so Spain would have to finish second in their group for that to be possible.
