    Coaching Eleven-a-side team

I am interested in managing/coaching an eleven-a-side team next season. Is it as simple as going to a club and asking if there are any positions available or are an qualifications/coaching badges necessary?

What part of Dublin are you in North South or West.

What age group are you interested in.

For an eleven a side Team I would imagine that you might need to have some sort of qualification/experience as its at the stage of getting serious for the Kids themselves.

Most Clubs (that I know) are not overly fussy on the 7 a side or 9 a side game and are happy with one of the Parents/Adults known to the Kids managing the Team.

If you haven't Coached before I suggest a year or two with seven or nine a side to give yourself a chance to get used to it as the 11 a side is a different and more difficult job as you've got so many more Kids,Parents etc to deal with.

    Good Luck.
