I second Al Finnucane, Paul McGee and Paddy Mulligan.

God knows why Brendan Bradley hasn't been nominated more than once by other supporters by this point.

Also if managers count I nominate Patsy McGowan and Amby Fogarty.

Shels: Freddie Strahan, Ben Hannigan, Eric Barber, John Heavey, Jackie Hennessy
    Drums: Eamonn Darcy
    Bohs: Jimmy Conway
Rovers: Liam Tuohy, Frank O'Neill, Ronnie Nolan, Mick Lawlor, Mick Leech, Pat Dunne, Paddy Mulligan, Paddy Ambrose, Eddie Bailham, Damian Richardson, Mick Smyth
    Pats: Dinny Lowry, Noel Campbell
    Dundalk: Jimmy Hasty, Tommy McConville
    Sligo Rovers: David Pugh
    Limerick: Kevin Fitzpatrick, Al Finnucane
Waterford: Peter Thomas, Alfie Hale, John Matthews
    Cork Hibs: Miah Dennehy
    Cork Celtic: Kevin Blount
    Evergreen: Donal Leahy
    Finn Harps: Brendan Bradley
I would also incude men of many clubs, Jackie Mooney and Turlough O'Connor.

    Happy Days Great memories

    People from my time...

Paul Osam (on his day the best el midfielder at the time)
John Ryan (hat-trick in a cup final)
Barry O'Connor (more then a hundred league goals)
    Peter Hutton (great central defender)
Mbabazi (imo, the best Pats player since Osam)

That's all I can think of for now.....

Monzo, I assume EP's message below is the one to which you refer.

Thanks for the nominations, keep them coming, and give the thumbs up to those of fellow posters who warrant it.
If that is the case, I cannot see where it says that fans from other clubs cannot nominate players from other clubs. What I can see is the requirement that any player nominated has to be seconded by a few other posters who are not supporters of the club is most associated with.

None of the players in my list were associated with BW. Some of them had already been nominated, in which case, consider my support to be seconding the nomination. If they have not been previously nominated, consider my support to be a nomination.

Crack on with it so Harpskid, I'm not exactly getting swamped with volunteers to write pieces at this stage

Ah don't fall out over it lads. The rules aren't set in stone, I'm just saying to use a bit of cop so we don't get a plethora of sycophants demanding some fans' favourite gets in on popularity rather than something of more substance.

Nominate whoever you want, I'm just looking for some unbiased seconding of the nominations.

Not long enough around the League and threw his career away.
