Its a waste of time on there, no meaningful debate what so ever.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.

I had a real problem with it last year, the moderator wouldn't sign me up despite me getting 2 sponsors. To be honest I was only interested in it for college surveys etc ... foot.ie is far superior in my opinion.

sponsorship was brought in a few years back when the levels of muppetry reached critical levels, the iron fist was also necessary as most "debates" turned into who could call the other random insults the most.

Fair enough but theres never been a need for that in this forum, and we have had some fine examples of muppetry! I think the sponsorship thing is a load of ****e because you rarely know the people who are vouching for you which kind of defeats the purpose!

I quite like it,in regards to any of the EL threads. Most the posters have decent points to make and there is no clique or bias to certain teams fans like on this site!

I was banned once from there for calling someone an idiot after he said Duff was always a crap player.
"Jacques Santini...will be greeted in every dugout of the country by "one-nil, one-nil" - Clive Tyldsley, 89th minute of France-England June 13, 2004.
"Ooooohhhh Nooooooo" Bobby Robson 91st minute.
