I'd just like to wish Pike Rovers goalkeeper Kevin Fitzpatrick all the very best in his recovery from recent illness. This sadly looks like he will have to retire from a game he has put an awful lot into over the past many years. Kevin always put 100% in, be it for Limerick FC, or Pike Rovers and deserves a clap on the back.
Good luck to him....may it all go well.

well said Joe, he will be missed form the playing side of it but i'm sure he will stay coaching as he is one of the top goalkeeping coaches in the country, oh and a bloody nice guy off the pitch too!
Could someone tell me what happened to kevin, i hope he makes a speedy recovery, nice guy and great keeper.
Pm' d you...

Sad to hear about one of the most respected gents in Limerick football. Hope he gets well soon. Let's hope that he gets inspiration from Nwankwo Kanu as he had problems with his heart.
