It's close between Deery and McWalter's first.
Some right crackers in there, I'd vote for Deery's.

Thought Huttons was good, really acute angle to get it in. Deerys was good, as Georgies. I thought there were a few more that should have been in there, cant actually single out which one at the moment, just kinda remember there being a few more good goals scored.
The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
O'Callaghan's one was the best I think. Very hard to execute the near post goal from that position and takes some balls too.
Agreed ... think i'll vote for that one.Originally Posted by Poor Student

I looked at them last night and recorded them also and watched them again. I can't get past Deery's. McWalters (both of them) were good also as was that bollóx Danny O'Connor's goal . While Georgie's was a good strike, the fact that Delaney should have done better takes from it a bit imo.
So it's Deery for me.

What about Cooling's against bray!!!
If there were two keepers in the goal, they still wouldn't have saved it!!
some serious stuff there, the first one wins though. what a hit.
nice to see rovers still in there entertaining in the graveyard. nice stuff from cassidy, best move of the lot.
Danny O Connors - a cracker!
Hutton took his brilliantly. Thought McWalters second was a screamer, defo between himself and Deery.
He just closed his eyes and pretended the ball was a centre forward , good finish.Originally Posted by dancinpants

A cracking set of goals alright. I'd go for O'Connor's because of the whole 'stoppage time in the Cup - Roy of the Rovers' thing.
O'Callaghan's free was well struck, but should never have beaten the keeper.

I'd say the exact same for O'Connors.Originally Posted by el punter

Deery's goal should have won April Goal of the Month, but May will do instead. Unstoppable goal at any level. Loads of other great ones too though especially O'Callaghan, Hutton and McWalter's right-footer (the defending for his first was just too bad for it to be a contender).
