    No spat just funny that anybody associated with ICBINHF can slag off any club. Joke website for a joke club.

    [Keely on O'Callaghans skills;

    "I think George O’Callaghan ought to learn a bit more respect. Against us on Friday, at one point he was over on the touchline bringing the ball under his feet and basically taking the p*** out of us. A big naughty, George. You should respect those you are playing against, regardless of their ability – or yours." - Dublin City manager Dermot Keely on Cork star George O’Callaghan.]

    For anyone who saw Keely play that is the funniest thing he's ever said

    Well I never thought I'd have somebody from the north side of Dublin correct me on spelling. And Rovers aren't going up this year. Too much complacancy /arrogance at every level of the club - from the fans to the management. They all think they are way better than the rest of the division. Limerick on the other hand keep their feet on the ground and I think that will help their cause a lot. How are Ger O'Brien and Shields doing by the way?

    Eh what?? There is zero complacency from Scully to the fans. We know we have to do the business on the pitch. IMO he's doing a great job considering we have a brand new team and we've only lost once this year. There are still 26 league games yet. We dont think we are better than the anyone pal. If getting well beaten by us in front of your biggest crowd in aons gave you that impression think again.

    Shields has done better on the wing and of all the players he wouldnt look out of place in the premier IF we get there.

    BTW NH was right your previous post made no sense.

    Philly- it barely matters what Rovers or Limerick do on the pitch, chances are the former will be promoted and the latter will stay down.

    Incidentally- Dublin City deserve credit for being the only club in the league (that I know of anyway) to give the U21 league comprehensive coverage. It's the only place I can ever find tables.

    Most clubs cover their own team fairly well- but Dublin have both league tables and all the results.

    Incidentally the Cork site still has last year's table up. Hardly their fault though- as one lad at Harps has contacted the FAI a number of times to try and get stats and has got nowhere.

    Dublin City seem to have all the tables etc off their own bat, and fair play to them for it- although of course we shouldn't have to rely on them!

    Not to mention the rest of the world. Ridiculous misplaced arrogance is a hallmark of Shamrock Rovers FC. And we're very proud of it.

    theyre not. if they were there on merit they would ahve gotten into the league by starting in leinster junior league football and working all their way up the divisions like real football teams.if i won the euromillions could i just found a makey uppy team called dublin united and blag a way into the league and then claim were there on "merit". i doubt it

    But were they not the same team that Home Farm used to be?

    Yes dmandmythdledge they are. And also, by merit I mean't that they won promotion to the Premier fair and square. That's why they are in the Premier and nobody can say they shouldn't be. It isn't a league of marketability, finances or innovation. It's a league of football teams and they deserve to be where they are.

    Well not for a few months anyway.
    We're not arrogant, we're just better.
