The SFAI are the governing body for grassroots football in Ireland, not the FAI. Its success or the lack of is all down to them.
We also beat Longford 2-1 and held a full strength Shels 0-0!

How did Shels look, were they playing the full team, who stuck out as being on form.

Well unfortunately our Club didn't tell anyone that we were playing Shels beforehand! There is a report from one of the local papes below though.
And unfortunately in losing 5-0 to Bohs, we looked pretty bad in the process apparently.
We start off with Kilkenny in the new cup, and Waterford in the league.
