You will find that our A and B teams came through our youth system, they are not doing bad are they?

All our players were produced from scratch.

We dont paper over the cracks in our system by recruiting players from other clubs who developed them.

Half of your first team starters are not even for castlebar or even near it, they are from Kilmeena (Westport), S&F, Ballinrobe, Swinford. etc.

Our club is built on pride, and have up to this point more than matched your club in acheivements in spite of our smaller population, we have a far bigger fanbase.

You have a far bigger player pool than us and you still cant take advantage.
Such bull sh*t ye talk on this forum, my club is bigger than your club, no mine is bigger than yours. We won the league last year, we won it the year before. Its like Desp Houswives or something...

Give everyone a break and meet up each other and have it face to face, nobody wants to come onto this forum anymore to read the bitchy comments up there. This should be dedicated to Westport United news, points of view etc not a Westport V Celtic shooting match!!

If he is going to talk nonsense on the forum, I am not letting him away with it with his senseless rambling, I am pointing out hard facts.

i'd prefer a better team than having a bigger fanbase!!!! and ye are on about if all the lads not from castlebar leave we will have nothing????? are ye well in the head, thats what i'm on about with the youths system. f.a.i. youth cup winners comin through and even more quality from younger age groups, we have nohing to worry about!!!
Reporter to Gordon Strachan: gordon, what's your impression of jermaine pennant? Reply: I don't do impressions!!

Oh I am sorry I forgot going to the beach will require you to walk.

With your resources I thought that hiring a bus would be a snap for yourselves. If it is too expensive put a towbar onto the "courtesy car" of el deuce and get sponsorship for a cattle trailer.

There will be plenty of room.

Sorry I forgot the journey to Bertra beach would increase the already long round trip for your S&F, Swinford, & Ballinrobe natives to come to training, I suppose that Castlebar is the most central location to gather your Celtic blow ins.

Has the sun got to you totally, what are you gibbering about now. Why are the Westport lads put into special chairs and transported or someit which does not require walking.

Back onto the pitch folks. We beat Snugboro in our defence of the Westaro Cup 4-2 with a hat trick from the Louisburgh Lion and a goal from Spiderman. In the league, we trounced Bangor Hibs 5-2 with Cam (2), Louisburgh Lion (2) and Spiderman. Unfortunately, Spiderman got injured and was replaced by El Matador and El Matador was very impressive on the pitch, his movement would be an education to the kids. The football we were playing was pure sex on grass!!

Took a look at the U.12s on Friday night and I'd have to say that they payed some lovely footie. Achill, despite the result, can be complimented for trying to play the correct way.

would`nt say trounced thunderblaster, the scoreline did`nt reflect the game at all, even though our goalkepper pulled off a few fine saves it was still 3-2 entering the last 10 min. Bangor were missing 2 very influencial centre backs, with them playing it might have been closer. Must admit ye were the best footballing team we played this season by far!

Two wins for the Galacticos, both 4-0 scorelines. Against Swinford, the Louisburgh Lion smacked a hat trick, while Chris Ryder got his first goal for the big boys!! Against Claremorris, it was Kenno, El Matador, Vinny and Cam. It was El Matador's first goal for the club and there were plenty of Spanish celebrations on the sideline. The Sangrias were on the house on Sunday night!!
