pb has to go simple as that.its not that long ago that a manager who came close to a treble got the boot.we all know the committee is weak and afraid of team management.the players have lost faith in pb thats a common fact in the town.i think the players are afraid to say it to him.he has been the best manager the club has had and its sad the way its going to end for him but at the end off the the day club should be bigger than any one person.

Shame on you for this OTT attack on an upstanding and excellent member of the Port. Always found him a gentleman and a respected manager.
Kick a man when he's down is that your philosophy. If so then Shame.
Remember this man is contributing his time for free and has a wife and young family to mind as well ......... Totally callous

Agree totally with the above comments about pb, a genuine, honest man who is doing his best,but as the point quoted earlier the team has gone off the boil and need a break after all the success down the years.
PB shouldn`t be sacked but he will know what is best for the club when the time is right and doesn`t deserved to be attacked on here by anyone.

i have not attacked pb,im stating facts.mossy read my first few lines and not my last ones.im sorry but its a harsh fact this season is not good enough.there are also a few players who should take a good look at themselves and one or two who should not be playing past their sell by date.

I would hate to think what you would say if you were having ago. Surely the players would have share some of blame or maybe this team has just run its course.

Read on the Connaught Telegraph that Lovejoy is taking time out as he admitted that he is not enjoying playing football at the minute which, subtly, brings back to my point in September about player burnout. Also, on the paper, TK suggested that Westport United should enter the Eircom A League, something that has not entered as a topic for discussion on any sphere of influence within the club.

Wouldn't have a hope of getting an A Championship license with the current facilities ye have.

Quay Heart, the statement you have just made may have come as a shock to some, but to me and many Westport fans who know who you are (I live up the country and it is Westports', no Irelands worst kept secret as to your identity) it doesent, all you are out to do is cause trouble within the club, the supporters, players, the posters on the site, and anyone else who has to listen to your nonsense.

So why dont you get on your bike and "peddle" off.

I think that you might have singled out the wrong guy as Quay Heart, and the same name has been mentioned around town too. I have asked Quay Heart who he/she would like to see as the next Westport United manager.
