Not totally sure.
Thunder you might comfirm is it true that M McDonnell who works with Hastings car sales in Westport took the car off The Mayo YOUTHS which was been used for bring football gear all over England and Ireland and given to Westport MANAGER for his use as part of the deal for him to manage Westport Utd.
If this is true shame on your club for denying the youths of our county and addvertising Hastings Cars Sales on the Van all over England and Ireland or even Europe some sponorship that was, to take advantage of this situation on the Chairman of the Mayo youths.
I sum it up as a pitty you couldn't find another way to look after your manager. :
Not totally sure.

so come of the pot you asked poeple talk about your club, now do the decent thing and reply and please dont give me a politcal anwser to the question I have asked.
Beat S&F 3-1. Goals by Vinny O'Malley, Dessie O'Malley and Gerry McLoughlin were enough to secure the win. Played better football than on Sunday and the van is an issue that cannot be dealt with by us. It is up to the people directly involved with the issue to speak about its position.

The juniors are rewarded with their victory with a trip to Ballyheane on Saturday evening at 7:30. Bit of a social gathering of forumites from foot.ie by the sounds of it. The B team are at home to Mulranny in the Amphitheatre of Dreams on Sunday at 2:30.

Sports Park is in great nick thanks to Sparky Halpin and Iain McLoughlin. Has come a long ways from being a ploughed site in a couple of years.

it is up to them what they do with their own vehicles.
Other clubs have their own means of looking after managers

those clubs affairs.
great to see the friendship between both clubs continue especially after the way pike very nicely helped westport in the fai debacle last year !Originally Posted by Thunderblaster
Is Sean still involved? a true gentleman. Where is his son, who played with us a few years back. I can't think of his first name.Originally Posted by Thunderblaster

Sean still goes to games and he is planning on going to manage the U.18 side this year. He is in hospital at the moment and everyone on foot.ie sends him his best wishes. The son you are asking about is Ray.Originally Posted by Redzer

Some underage results this week. In the U.14 League, Westport United A were defeated 4-2 by Kiltimagh/Knock United, the Westport United U.14 B team won 6-1 against Ballina Town C and the Westport United U.14 C team were beaten by Erris United. The Westport United U.12 A team were 4-1 winners over Conn Rangers in the U.12 Cup while the Westport United U.12 B team won 3-0 against Claremorris B in the league and it is nice to see the kids getting football. It's important that the kids get supported.

Beaten 1-0 by Ballyheane through a penalty. Dessie O'Malley had a penalty saved and Ballyheane should have got another penalty. Experimented on a 4-1-4-1 system with Danny Scahill playing the holding role in front of the back four. Played some good football in the first half but once Ballyheane shut up shop after the goal, we never looked like breaking them down due to Peter Bourke's excellent marshalling of the defence and partly by not throwing caution to the wind. A couple of quick one-two's between the full back and the centre half may have prised open the Ballyheane defence. Anyhow, the Westaro "Mickey Mouse" Cup will not be on the sideboard for another season. Clubs like Westport United and Castlebar Celtic, with all due respects, should not be aiming for that trophy unless they had teams that were not good enough for the major honours in the game.
