Can I please, please encourage those of you who are adult enough, to see the this Committee were democratically elected and are doing the best that they can; that's all that can be expected of anyone, please stop this nonsense and get on with talking about Soccer, as was the intention of this website.

So therefore, I'm glad that you've said what you said - lets have no more sniping and lets be proud of what we are - the best football side in the county!

Off on another ramble I see. If you put as much effort into your beloved club as you do making non sensical utterings as the above, Westport should be playing champions league in the next few years!

Membership levies are agreed at the AGM which is the forum for disagreemnet also.

Of the 65 members I doubt many are 'slow' - you should not be talking like that in your predicament.

Look to be honest I could give a hoot about Westport Or what happened at YOUR a.g.m.
What you need to do is get your house in order, by what I hear its not.
ALL I am adding there some people in your camp are not happy, By what is happening. So for get about the sticks and stones bit, and channelled your thoughts on those who are not happy. And find a happy medium.
Just One other thing if you put up a site promoting your club, and brag at every other oppitunity,then expect others will get tired of it. O.K.

Juniors beat Whitehall Celtic 3-0 and Fahy Rovers 6-2. The B team lost 4-2 to Snugboro and drew 1-1 with Partry Athletic. There was a very interesting discussion with Diana Walsh, dietician, last night; she pointed out what they should be eating and drinking and when. It was stuff I knew already but interesting all the same and it is as useful to underage footballers as it is to adult players.

Great to see the Sports Park turned into a scallywag exclusion zone!!

Reason being that all spectators are asked to respect match officials at all times and it is posted as a sign on the gate. Jimmy Blake and co. can come to Westport feeling invigorated that the club has adopted a no abuse policy against referees. As the referees are coming down hard on abuse this year, the message from the club to all of us is loud and clear.....behave ourselves!!
