Why don't you stand up and voice your concers then? i'll be lurking in the shadows watching it all so let's see who has the 'cohones'. Enough of this TB attacking - he's done more for the club than you or me or anyone who's been having a pop at him. Act like a man and say your bit at the right time - obvioulsy there's a lot of people in teh club who believe that paying the manager is the right way to go - as for the choice of manager - that's another issue. As for me - i'll support whoever it is because I'm proud of those who wear that crest. Stop whining and support the club.

Our U.14 boys had a very good win away to Manor Rangers on Saturday at a 5-0 scoreline. They are away to St. Joseph's of Athlone on Saturday at 2:00 in the last 16 of the FCS Connacht U.14 Cup. Best of luck to them.

Funny to see your first two choices were Castlebar Celtic players and might be back in the near future. What I have seen of Westport A team this year (four games) the young Hoban lad (NIUG) was great in all games and in different positions. He was a real loss to your team for the external cups. But the A team has so many great players I would hate to have to pick one.

I see by the Mayo Site that you were missing 9 of the FAI Junior Cup team when knocked out off the Connacht Cup. Can you name the two that did play. I didnt think you would have won the CC this year, my money would be on Mervue.

Mervue are always the perennial favourites for the competition. They beat us 2-0 two years ago and their first goal was a well worked corner kick in which one of the guys standing near the back post sprinted across to take the ball short from the taker. The ball was laid back to the taker who then took the ball across the edge of the box before firing home. It was one of these well rehearsed set piece moves.

Whatever makes you feel happy. You seem to have forgotten to reply to the post and gone for insulting the poster - sure sign of a simpleton.

I'm not attacking you're feelings. If you feel that strongly about it and get shot down why not try a different approach - you have until Friday to submit a written motion for the agenda which has to be discussed - no committee members read this site so you'll be better off taking it to them face to face. Having a pop at the club here is a total wate of time.

I'm not allowed to cach anything til I sort my anger managment issues but thanks for asking.

This is the prefect spot to air your grievances. Every club has people involved who are not happy with the direction their club is taking. The problem is that a lot of these people are not willing set on the committee and try to change the direction of the club.

I am not so sure by airing your views here, will change the poeple who are making the decissions, unless they are tuned into this site. if they are, they can choose to ignor what is said. at the end of the day only changes at club level can make the real differants.
Remember one thing when you talk down your club you are also talking down your self.

that is total rubbish reno.you obviously dont know westport utd.utd set up a finance committe and askd its advice on the paying of a manager to which the fin. com. said it was not affordable at 400 euro a wk plus van and phone!the chairman on hearing this walkd out with two other committe members because they wanted the galway man over the 2 westport men.yet 2 of those men sat on the interview board that was 2 hire the same man !the same manager that was told by the third walkout man a week previous that the job was his and the interviews were 2 keep "people" happy!so dont talk to me about serving on committes or giving up free time to help your club when this kind of dictatorship goes on !

from an outsider looking in, maybe keep what goes on behind closed doors behind closed doors, its not painting a very good picture for your club. or maybe this is exactly what ye are looking for so there will be change. just my thoughts.
