Damien Richardson is rumoured to be taking over the hot-seat at Terryland Park. Former Cork City manager Pat Dolan will work with him as assistant manager.

Former Galway United player and City U21 boss Stuart Ashton will be taking over as Head of Youth Development at the sleeping giants of Irish football (Galway, not Cork).

MaraDon O'Riordan. That would be a backward progression.

Stephen Lally is a Galway United legend. He won his fair share of medals with the Club (FAI Cup, League Cup(2), Shield (2), First Div winners). He played in six European games. He was captain and later, manager. He will be sadly missed in Terryland.

If every club in Ireland had a Stephen Lally, then this League would be all the beter for it.

    Oh sweet Jesus.

"We all dream of a team of Lally's, a team of Lally's, a team of Lally's. Number 1 is Lally etc.."

Watch how this thread turns into a Lally bashing from the Sligo boys.

At least he's a sound guy, unlike Mr Connor.

WTF? Where did we bash him? We haven't said anything abusive to him here at all ffs.

As for been sound, maybe you think so but he's just as bad as Connor to opposition fans, giving us the finger after the last match.

Tailor made for Pat Dolan. After all Peter Carpenter ( your former player) supplies Pat's suits . And besides he's very proud of his Galway roots born there etc.

P.S. Galway dream team , Pat " Believe The Hype" Dolan and Nick" Megaheadline" Leeson

Peter is still living here in Galway and occassionally visits terryland when time allows him too.

Can you imagine the money the 2 lads could bring in and then lose it all on a king high flush !!!!
