    Cup replay

Many heading down on Monday night? Is Newbridge bout an hours drive from Bray- it's a while since I was down there. If we play from the start with some of the urgency we showed late on last night, we'll be ok. Tresson's goal was fabulous, thought Foxy got the second or was it Robbie? We got out of jail though.

Might take longer than an hour. It will be rush hour plus there are road works taking place on the Naas road as you leave Dublin.

You were very very very lucky

Any idea where they came up with 6 mins of injury time?

It was only when Doyle came on that you looked anywhere near a Premier Division team. What's happened to Zayed, the last time i saw him, he looked like a super player, he barely got a touch on Friday!!

Ah now in fairness "You were very very very lucky" is a bit harsh, i know it was very late in the game when we equalised but we should have scored a few times before that. Kildare got out of there own half twice in the 2nd period, once to score an absolutely brilliant free kick ! and the 2nd time our keeper made a good save, apart from that we were camped in your half and should have scored a few times, with Foxy hitting the bar and Caffo hitting the post.

Match report on our website says the injury time came from your keepers time wasting, which in fairness there was quite a bit of. Also 30 seconds for each sub, which there was 6 in total, which probably would'nt be far out looking back on it, at the time when i saw 6 minutes i was like "what the fcuk !!!!!"

Agreed though, Doyler made the difference, totally changed the way we were playing and caused plenty of problems. He DEFO should have had a peno as well when you left back handeled the ball.

Looking forward to the reply tonight, i reckon Friday was Kildare big chance to cause a bit of an upset, so fingers crossed we finish the job tonight

Dead right about the pen, it was a certainty but I think I'm right in saying you scored from the resulting corner.

Cooling's free kick was a beauty alright. He almost did the same a couple of minutes later but it just clipped the top of the wall.

I really did fancy our chances of getting at least a draw and thought we might have snuck it but as you say, I think our chance has gone now and I think you will win handily enough tonight.

Congratulations on the pitch by the way, I've been to all the Dublin grounds this season and that is the best pitch that I have seen by a mile.

Yeah we did score from the resulting cornor alright, just a very bad miss from the ref and the ref's assistant to miss such a blatent handball.

Yeah Cooling freekick was superb, no keeper the in the league, in fact world football could have got near it, very like Beckhams against Greece a few years back. I was very impressed with you front 2 players, ran themsleves into the ground and held it up when at times.

Cheers about the pitch ! ive always said it myself about being one of the best in the league, Ger our groundsman puts a lot of work into it and it always pays-off.

Looking forward to the match tonight, lovely little set up in Kildare, have enjoyed my pervious trips down there.

From Dublin - Take motorway past Naas and exit for Newbridge. Upon entry to Newbridge, cross Liffey bridge and travel up Main Street, turn right at the post office for Station Road. Cross the bridge at the train station and football ground is on your left.

That's a good question, I thought it was Doyle and everybody seemed to run to run after you scored and i am nearly sure the announcer gave it to him afterwards but it was fox according to all the papers

Well no doubting who scored tonight. Terrible game, got a pain in my neck looking up at the ball in the clouds. And incredibly, there's a ground that's even colder than the Carlisle!

Yeah our P.A said Robbie got it, but he did'nt touch the ball. I knew by Robbie's celebration, he ran to pip to say well done etc..... had he scored himself he would have been stright over to the Bray bench. Foxy got the slightest of touches to direct it in.

With regards to the reply, just happy to be in the draw for the next round ! tough game and the wind didnt help what so ever. Kildare look like a handy enough side this season and have some good players.

I thought that it was a pretty good game. The wind didnt help at all and it was bloody freezing ( it was a bit like a sunny mid-winters day). Both sides tried to play it on the ground, both keepers pulled off brilliant saves, we hit the crossbar with a belter of a header and the Bray number ten took his goal well after our full backs mistake. I certainly didnt think the ball was in the air too much, although I am still thawing out and may have flashbacks later...

Whatever happened to the summer football idea?

It wasn't a great game and we just about shaded it. Kildare has their chance on Friday. Hopefully a win will put us in a good frame of mind for Shels before the 3 week break.
